Margaret «Madge» Josephine Judson
1928-2017
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, Charlottetown on Dec. 25th, 2017 of Margaret
«Madge» Josephine Judson (nee McDonough) of Montague, aged
89 years. Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1928 to Joseph and Mary (Flynn)
McDonough, she has called Canada her home since 1955. Cherished
mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she will be greatly
missed by all those who knew and loved her. Predeceased by her husband
of 60 years, Ansel Judson, on Dec. 24, 2013, infant grandson Sean
Harris Judson, brothers Joe and John, sisters Nellie, Lucy, Kathleen
and Teresa, brothers in law Whitley and Hinson Judson. Left to mourn
her passing are her children Carol (Colin) Shaw, Ian (Nancy) Judson,
Colleen (Paul) Norris, Keith Judson and Priscilla (Dan) Trecartin, 12
grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, brothers, Christi (Mari) and
Bernard (Vera) McDonough, sister in law, Kathleen Judson and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Ferguson
Logan Funeral Home, Montague where the funeral service will be held on
Thursday, December, 28th in the funeral home chapel at 11 am. Visiting
hours on Wednesday, December 27th from 7 to 8 pm and Thursday,
December 28th from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Due to allergies
please no perfume or scented products. In lieu of
flowers donations to the Montague Food Bank would be
appreciated.
