Lorne M. Brown
1922-2017
Lorne Milton Brown of Coldstream passed away on Monday, September 11,
2017 at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton. He was born February
6, 1922 in Simonds, and was the son of the late Hugh and Etta Brown.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Diana, and brothers, Frank
(Alice), William (Glenna), Garfield (Elva), and Winston.
Lorne is survived by his wife, Joellyn Brown of Coldstream; children,
Lorna (Gordon) Mowry of Williamsburg, Ronald Brown of Coldstream,
Roland (Kellie) Brown of Coldstream; grandchildren, Heidi (Jeff)
Robertson, Judith (Ryan) Young, Jared (Kristen) Mowry, Ruth Mowry,
Walker Brown, Brogan Brown, Mahalia Brown; great grandchildren, Emily
Robertson, Parker Robertson, Adrianna Young, Jael Young, Bodin Young,
Eli Young, Jesse Mowry, Aiden Mowry, Griffen Mowry; sister-in-law,
Daisy Brown; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street,
Hartland, on Thursday, September 14th from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. The
funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Mowry
officiating. The interment will be in the Lower Windsor Cemetery. If
so desired, donations can be made to the Central Carleton Nursing Home
