Josephine MacLennan
1929-2017
Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge the
passing of Josephine MacLennan, age 87, wife of the late Arthur
MacLennan occurred on Monday, June 12, 2017. Born in Wood Islands
December 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Artimas and Mabel
(Mosher) Acorn. Josephine is survived by her loving son Marvin (Dale);
brothers and sisters, Marjorie Scencabaugh, Jennie MacLean, Laura
Compton, Marie MacLean, Millie MacLean, Ella Langley (Rollie), Thelma
Bell (Wayne), Lewis Acorn and Alfred Acorn (Velma); 7 cherished
grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by a son Sheldon Acorn, daughter Shirley Cyr, 1 infant
daughter and 1 infant son; sister Hannah; 1 infant brother Eddy.
A Grave Side service will be held on Thursday, June
15, 2017 at the Belle River Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Donations to The
Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
