Passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital with his family and friends by his side on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in his 69th year. Beloved son of Colleen LeBlanc and the late Arthur LeBlanc, and also predeceased by his step-father George Mallett. Loving and devoted father of Michael (Megan) LeBlanc of Kanata and Christine LeBlanc of Smiths Falls. Dear brother of Robert (Wanda), Paul (Diane), Roger (Gayle), Edith (Jock), Edward and Andrew LeBlanc and the late Joanne LeBlanc. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, his best friend Sherry Brady, and his dear friends Joe Brady and Debbie Morphy. John was very well known and respected in the car industry. He also was an avid musician and enjoyed time with his band and band mates in « Mishief » in the early ’80’s. Special thanks to all of the nurses and doctors at the Smiths Falls, Ottawa and Brockville Hospitals. The family would also like to extend special appreciation to Grant Callan of Callan Motors and Pat Butler of the Butler Auto Group, who was such kind and generous friend to John. There will be a private graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
