Peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on
Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Janet Virginia Walker (nee Tuchlinsky) in her 94th year.
Beloved mother to Ted Brush of Bala, Susan Beattie of Toronto and Ronald (Cindy) Brush of Gravenhurst. Janet was predeceased by her infant son David Brush and by her husband Bruce Walker in 2003 and by her first husband James Sydney Brush in 1978 and by her siblings Robert, Ron, Paul
and Clifford Tuchlinsky. Beloved grandmother to Jessica (Greg) Corrado, Claire (Luca) Gatti, Ryan Brush (Alice), and Aaron Brush. Great grandmother to Liam, Nicholas and Daniel Corrado and Stella Gatti.
Janet is survived by her sisters in law Terry and Cathy Tuchlinsky. Janet is also survived by her Step daughters Barbara Coleman and Carolyn Pearson and their families. Cremation has taken place.
A gathering to celebrate Janet’s life will be held at the Bala United Church on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at the church one hour prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Muskoka Shores Care Community Nursing Home, 200 Kelly Drive, Gravenhurst or simply perform an act of kindness for someone else. Mom is now able to do what she enjoyed most…….playing bridge, baking and gardening.
