VANDERLEEUW, Jacob «Jake»
It is with great sadness that the Vanderleeuw family announces the passing of their Husband, Dad, Pake and Grandpa. Jake Vanderleeuw went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Victoria Hospital, London in his 82nd year. Sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Anna. Loving Dad of Julie (Richard), Gary (Marlene), Sylvia (Scott) and Elaine. Proud Pake of Jason (Melissa), Kimberly (Stan), Corey (Sarah), Brittney, Dylan, Greg (Alaina), Kevin (Rachel) and Eric. Proud Grandpa of Austin, Megan, Alex, Sydney and Jake. He was also proud of his nine great grandchildren. Jake will be remembered by his brothers John (Mary), Jim (Wilma) and his sisters Tina (Jake), Margaret (Web), and Florence (Stuart). He is predeceased by his brother Melvin. Jake will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and his friends. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street, E. London on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4 pm – 7 pm. A celebration of Jake’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1 pm at Talbot Street Church, 513 Talbot Street. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
