Howard «Bud» Tait
1931-2017
Howard «Bud» Eugene Tait ,86, of Upper
Coverdale passed away Saturday evening, November 25, 2017 at

Born in Moncton he was a son of the late Albert

For many years he worked as the caretaker for the Salisbury Lions

moments being when Salisbury native Stacey Wilson Captained the
Women’s Olympic Hockey Team as they won Silver in the 1998 games, as
he had coached her in her early years on the outdoor rink. He was a
former member of the Salisbury Lions Club and enjoyed gathering with
friends to play country music, travelling back country roads
especially to a fishing hole and going to Moncton Wildcat
games.
Survived and sadly missed by his
daughter Judy with whom he lived, son Grant and his wife Cheryl of
Colpitts Settlement, cherished grandchildren Tammy, Travis, Terri
Lynn, Nick; and great grandchildren Nathan, Hannah, Elliot, Nora; and
several nieces and nephews. Bud was predeceased by wife
Audrey; sisters Ruby Trites, Betty Jameson and brother
Walter.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home,
3350 Rt 106 Salisbury (372-4800) with visiting Tuesday November 28
from 7-9 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held at the
Five Points Cemetery.
If desired memorials in Bud’s memory to the
Salisbury Helping Hands Foodbank, 64 Douglas Street, Salisbury NB E4J
3E3, would be appreciated by the family.
