Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Grahame Kenneth Allen, 81, of St. Albert, Alberta, announce his passing on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his home.
Grahame was born April 3, 1936 in Auckland, New Zealand. He spent the majority of his working life as a regional planner; both in Grande Prairie and in Whangarei, New Zealand. While he enjoyed his career, his true passions were his family, sailing, music & theatre and in later years, his beloved border collies. He enjoyed playing the drums, reading, writing books and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grahame is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Leslie; sons, Mike and Murray; daughter, Kathryne; sister, Kathryne; brother, Scott; his many grandchildren & great-grandchildren plus his faithful companion Wylie. He was preceded in death by parents; Les and Anne and son Harry in 1985.
