It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Gladys Lilian Vas de Sousa, cherished wife of Dr. Eustace Xavier de Sousa (deceased), beloved mother of Vernon (m. Talula) de Sousa and Valerie (m. Don) Drego, darling grandmother of Victoria, Vernon Leo and Amanda. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, 3rd July 2016 after a brief stay at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. The family will accept condolences during a visitation on Thursday, 7th July 2016, between 6-9 p.m. at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, Qc H9S 2B3. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, 8th July 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Veronica’s Church, 1300 Carson Avenue, Dorval, Qc H9S 1M6, followed by burial at La Présentation de la Ste-Vierge, 665 Avenue de l’Église, Dorval, Qc H9S 1R4. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu thereof to the West Island Palliative Care Residence, 265 Andre-Brunet Street, Kirkland, Qc H9H 3R4.
