Obituary for Mr. Gerald Alvin Prime
Passed away at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, ON, on Monday, December 25th, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Gerald, beloved husband of the late Winnifred (nee Manzer) for 41 years. Loving father of Michael and his wife Rachelle and Timothy and his wife Vitania. Proud grandfather of Zoette and Erben. Dear brother of the late Forrest and Sherman. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and his church family. Gerald was a life-long member of Southville Church of Christ, NS, where he was also served as a treasurer. Donations in Gerald’s memory may be made to the Victoria Order of Nurses, the Heath and Stoke Foundation or charity of choice. Visitation will be held at the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood, ON, on Friday, December, 29th, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm, with Remembrances at 3 pm and the Jayne’s Funeral Home, Highway No. 1, Weymouth, NS, B0W3T0, (902) 245-2525, on Wednesday January 3rd, 2018, from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at Southville Church of Christ, Southville, NS, at 1 pm. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Havelock, NS.
