Obituary for Gary Williams
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. GARY JAMES WILLIAMS, of Petrolia, 66 years old. Gary will be missed by his wife of 45 years Donna (nee McRae). He was a loving father to Rebecca (Don) Drury and Jennifer Williams (Jesse VanRooyen) and grandchildren Morgan and Haley Drury and Christopher and Katie Allingham. He will also be missed by his sister Barb (David) Horton and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Gloria and Jim Williams. Gary worked at Lanxess for 35 years. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, working with his hands, woodworking, and painting cars. He personally built two cottages, in Tobermory and Kettle Point. Gary made many friends over the years in Petrolia, in Grand Bend, and at his cottages. A service remembering Gary’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, where visitors will be received at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
