Franklin Phibbs
Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Providence Care Hospital on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Linda Phibbs. Survived by his siblings Bonnie (Larry), Barb, Joe, Albert, and Bill. He will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Susan (Norris), Sharon (Dwayne) and brother-in-law Doug (Shelley), nephews Colin, Justin (Funke), Jeremy, Dwayne Jr. (Tammy) and Michael, and many great nieces and great nephew. Predeceased by the late Mary Jo and Ted. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
A special thank you to our nephew Dwayne Jr. for all his help and support; the staff and friends of the Grace Centre with the Southern Frontenac Community Services in Sydenham; the staff of Connell 9 at Kingston General Hospital and the staff of Heritage 2 at Providence Palliative Care Hospital for their special care; and the in-home services of Saint Elizabeth Health Care.
The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Frank’s Life at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes 435 Davis Drive (Centennial at Taylor-Kidd) on Thursday November 16, 2017 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, 2563 Division St, in Glenburnie.
