Gemmell, Frank Matthew Sadly, Frank left us on Sunday, June 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn his wife, Alison Gemmell (formerly Decker); his stepdaughter Rachel Decker, her husband Donald Kellar and their twins Matthew and Grace; his stepdaughter Kathryn Decker, her husband Michael Malleson and their daughter Nicola; his Westie dog Tammy; his sister Anne Smith, her husband Ken; his niece Whitney Smith, her husband Justin Ing and their daughter Amelia; his sisters-in-law Hilary Vavasour and her husband Andy, and Rosalind Gray and her husband George and their families. For many years Frank was a principal with the Peel Board of Education. His favourite pastimes, often spent with friends and family, included golf, baseball, gardening, his winter house in Florida, dogs and horses, and playing cards. Frank was a very caring and social man and he loved to host a good party. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy #10), Brampton on Friday June 17, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until a time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Credit Valley Hospital – Renal Center – Watline Department.
