Elsie Hulley
Hulley, Elsie (nee Essex) – passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her 79th year on November 27, 2017 in Goderich. Survived by her loving husband Gordon “Pork” Hulley for 55 years. Loved by daughters; Bev Lecomte, Betty (Paul) Popp, Sandra (Steve) Popp, and sons ; John “Hoob” (Kim) Hulley and Norm (Melyni) Hulley. Elsie was a wonderful grandma to Lauren (Corey), Thomas (Olivia), Shawna (Justin), John, Aaron (Delaney), Matt (Mel), McKenna, Shelsie (Chubbs), Taylor (Drew), Ally (Cody), Adelline, and Nathan. Great grandma to Jace, Isabella and Dylan. Survived by her brother Joe and cherished Aunt Barb Pollock. Elsie was predeceased by her first husband James Rutledge, her daughter Donna Rutledge, mother Lola Atkinson, father Clarence Essex, sister Myrna Hunking and brother Ab Essex. At her request there will be no funeral service. Interment Colborne Cemetery. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion (56 Kingston Street, Goderich) Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #109 or the Goderich Recreational Park.
