Obituary for Elizabeth Tilley
Tilley, Elizabeth (Tizzard)
June 13, 1939 – February 8, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother/wife, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Gladys Tizzard, brother Noel Tizzard. Leaving to mourn her husband of 55 years Bruce, sons Scott, Chris, Dave (Dana) and daughter Robyn (Darrell). Her beloved grandkids Jesse, Julie, Kyle, Kayla, Megan, Danielle, Emma and Molly. Also leaving to mourn her brother Keith (Marie), sister Carolann (Brian), sisters-in-law Florence Gillingham and Daphne Barnes. Also as well a large circle of family and friends. We would like to say a special thank you to her family physician Dr. Gayle Garber, the doctors and nurses at the Cancer Clinic especially Dr’s Rourke and Greenland. A very special thank you to Dr. Cheryl Jefford. Elizabeth was a very kind and generous woman who will be deeply missed by all. We love you and miss you. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday from 7 pm – 9 pm, Saturday from 2 pm – 9 pm, Sunday from 10 am – 1:30 pm from where the funeral service will take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel at 2 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
