Dwight (John) Field
1941-2017
Dwight (John) Field, 76, passed away at The Moncton Hospital
following a long battle with lung disease. Dwight was born in
Sackville, NB to John Field and Gladys (Wilson) and was the youngest
of two children.
He received several different types of degrees; the
1st one from Fredericton Agriculture School in
1960, Advanced Oil Heating Training in 1964, Stationary Engineers
License in 1976 followed by Advanced Stationary Engineering from the
NBCC in 1987.
Dwight lived in Turtle Creek, NB for the last 25 years where
he enjoyed hunting, fishing & loving every day. He especially
enjoyed going to Blue Cross Music Festivals and enjoyed time with his
friends; which he had plenty of!
He is survived by his partner of 26 years Rosa Johnson; along
with his two sons Brent (Sara Doucette) of Moncton, Todd (Shelley
Cameron) of Oakville; grandchildren: Madison, Vanessa, Thomas, Caleb,
Gabrielle & Jayden. Dwight was preceded in death by his
parents and his sister Marie.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007)
on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 2:00- 3:30pm. A service celebrating
Dwight’s life will take place at 3:30pm with Pastor Paul
Leger officiating. Following the service, there will be a luncheon at
the funeral home. The family is asking that donations be made to Glad
Tidings Church « Care and Connections Ministry » as
they provide snacks and food for families with loved ones in
palliative care at The Moncton Hospital. Condolences may be expressed

continued « Celebration of Life » afterwards at son
Brent’s house in Moncton, NB.
