With saddened heart I announce the sudden passing of my everything, my rock… my dad, Doug Leard.
Dad was predeceased by his father, Jack Leard and mother, Noreen Neudorf.
Dad will be missed terribly by his sisters Joanne and Bonnie, his brother Les and sister-in-law Millie, along with his wonderful girlfriend Jo-Ann Hong. He leaves behind numerous family members and close friends, including his exceptional Trimac family.
You would never drive by the copper mug and not pull in to see him laughing with a whisky in his hand and a crowd of friends surrounding him. Dad was an avid fisherman, and he could be often found at the lake, or hosting his parties, he was always so full of hospitality. Dad your humour and genuine personality will be forever missed and I’m going to make you so proud.
A Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Home, 311 – 3rd Avenue North, on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery to follow.
