Carmichael, Dorothy Grace (nee Wright)
Passed away at the Birchmere Retirement Residence on Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the age of 97. Now gone to be reunited with her beloved husband Duncan Carmichael, son Morley Carmichael and grandson David Asselin. Loving and devoted mother of Harold (Beverly) of Ajax, Darlene Brown (Rob) of Guelph, Paul (Gloria) of Sharon, Alex (Barbara Ann) of Orillia and Dorothy Bowland (Bob) of Parry Sound. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dear sister of the Harold and Orma (both predeceased). She will be remembered as a vital member and supporter of the Udney Community spending most of her lifetime on the family farm where she and Duncan raised their family and cared for many neighbours and friends. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday, December 27th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning, December 28th at 11 a.m. Interment: Udney Cemetery.
