FRANCIS, Dorothy May – passed away peacefully, with the love of her family, at Marianhill, Pembroke on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Dorothy Francis (nee Griese) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Hayden Francis. Dear mother of Helen Hamilton (Ron), Round Lake; Betty Tabbert (Hilbert), Pembroke; Cliff Francis (Tamara), Calgary; and Nancy Lytle (Travis), Toronto. Grandmother of Jennifer Moore (Kent) & Patti Gorr (Corey); Christine, Reid (Carole) & Scott (Wendy) Tabbert; Renée, Christopher (Keeli), Laurel, and Gavin Francis; and Adrian (Brenna) & Mark Preston. Great-grandmother of Jared and Rachel Moore; Abby and Mackenzie Gorr; Ryleigh & Raegan Tabbert; Macaila, Peyton, Alanna & Olivia Tabbert; and Myles & Daphne Francis. Daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Griese (nee Thrasher). Sister of Howard Griese (Iva), Pembroke. Predeceased by sister Eileen Juby; and brothers Clifford (late Marie), Cecil (late Marie), Clemeth & Clarence Griese. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Petawawa Presbyterian Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Rosebank Cemetery, Haley Station.
