Doris-Jean Henry
December 29th, 1934-December 26th, 2017 passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Dorothy Zimmer, leaving behind her children Dwayne Henry (Mary) of Windsor, Kevin Henry of Alberta, Sherry Henry, Betty Kirk, Charles Henry (Sandra), Paulette Hazlehurst (Brian), Rosemary Henry, Lou-Ann Parkyn (Tom), all of Chatham. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Wanda, Tanya, Chad, Kellsy, Cory, Colin, Chase, Jackie, Richard, Jessica, Kaitlyn, and Erica, and by her sixteen great grandchildren. Brothers George (Connie) Thompson, Jim (Louise) Thompson, and sister Elaine Shaw (Ken). Loving friend of Bob Black. Predeceased by her siblings Ken, Jack, and Joanne, grandson Bruce Lovell Jr, daughter-in-law Cathy Henry, granddaughter-in-law Brittney Henry, and former spouse and father of their children Syd Henry. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 with visiting on Friday December 29th from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday December 30th at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Tiffin officiating.
