Obituary It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Boyce of Edmonton on January 5, 2013 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marilyn; children, Donna (Gary) of Anchorage, AK, Donald (Char) Boyce of Airdre, Ronald (Kelly) Boyce of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Susan Boyce of Mountain View, California; granddaughters, Ashley (Greg) Jackson, Julie, Michelle and Jennifer Boyce; great-granddaughter, Owyn Jackson; brothers, Norman (Ruby), Charlie, and Brian (Sonja); sisters, Florence, Grace, Sister Mary Alice, Margaret and Kathleen (Murray). Donald was predeceased by his parents, James and Viola Grace; brothers, Jim, Henry, Howard, Clarence, Edward and Allan. Don retired in 1989 after 36 years with the Alberta Department of Transportation. He enjoyed golfing, travelling, hunting and being with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 12 2013 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Emergency and ICU staff of the University of Alberta Hospital. The family would also like to thank his cardiologist and family doctor for the excellent care that they provided.
