Surrounded by his loving family,
CORNELIUS HARNETT, of St. Lawrence, passed
peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s,
on Saturday, November 18th, 2017, at the age of
76. Leaving to mourn with many
loving and cherished memories are his wife, Mabel, of 55 years;
sons, John (Madonna) of Toronto, Wayne of Moncton, NB, Raymond (Cathy)
of St. Lawrence; daughters, Donna (Mark) of Hopeall & Evelyn
(Todd) of St. Lawrence; sisters, Thelma Roul, Anita
Stacey, Elizabeth Moore, Annie Smith, Angela Robson, Linda Flynn, Lucy
Pope; brothers, Maurice & Ted; 11 grandchildren; 3
great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. He was predeceased by parents,
Casmir & Emma Harnett; brother, Donette; sister, Bernice
Kettle.
As per
Cornelius’ wishes cremation has taken
place.
The Harnett Family will be accepting visitors at St.
Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence on a date and
time to be announced; from where the Mass of Christian Burial will
take place on a date and time to be announced.
A
private family burial will take place at a later
date.
In lieu of flowers
donations in Cornelius’ memory may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society.
