McKillop, Brian John October 8, 1955 – March 11, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle. Surrounded by his children and the music from his youth, he slipped away peacefully into the evening on Friday March 11, 2016. Brian is survived by his son Michael (Erica), daughters; Catherine (Ryan), Shannon (Richard), Andrea (Donovan), grandchildren Tahia, Eli, Roman, Gavin and Emerson. Parents Stanley and Lenora, brothers Donald (Nellie), Richard (Nina), sister Diane (Gary) and numerous nieces and nephews. Brian enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and time spent at the casino. Brian loved his job as a technician for Hobart Canada, whom he was employed with for 38 years. Brian was well liked and respected in his position. Brian’s family would like to thank Drs Weir and Swiggum, along with all of the nurses and staff that cared for him for so many years. A celebration of life will be held in the Okanagan at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
