Passed away peacefully at Madawaska Valley Hospice on Sunday, November 19, 2017. Agnes Bowers, age 103 was the beloved wife of the late Edward Bowers (1983). Loved mother of Viola Laginski, Edward Bowers (Lenna), Joe Bowers, Joan Lee (Richard), Cheryl Stewart and son-in-law Trevor Castle. Agnes was predeceased by her daughter Edna Castle and daughter-in-law Catherine. Agnes will be happy to be home with her Momma and Poppa Angilica and L’Amable Lavalley. Grandmother of Kim, Melanie, Glenn, Sheri, Sean, Stephanie, Derek, Warren, Kristin, and Cheyenne. Agnes will be missed by 13 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours in Whitney on Thursday, November 23, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours in Whitney, Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Malachy Ekezie presiding.
