Beverly Joan Wilson
(nee Gibbson)
We regret to announce the passing of Beverly Wilson on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 67 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron; children Leona (Rob) Ferris and Rona Wilson (Ken Rode); grandchildren Matthew, Alexander and Tyler along with many other family members and friends.
Beverly was born in Portage la Prairie on January 14, 1950. She grew up and went to school in Portage. In 1967 she married Ron Wilson. Over the years they lived in Brandon, MB and Cobble Hill, BC until returning to Portage in 2007.
Beverly was always there to help and to give others support. She loved animals, crocheting, knitting and reading. Her true love was her family and she always enjoyed spending time with them.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal funeral services will be held.
Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Beverly may be made to Central Plains Cancer Services 318 E Saskatchewan Ave, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
