Kirkwood, Anne Mary (nee Somerville)
Passed away peacefully with family at her side on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 64. Beloved wife of Bill for 43 years. Loving Mother of Andrew (Erin) and Deirdre (Chris). Cherished « Nana » to Ryan and Alison Kirkwood. Dear Sister to Patricia (Tom) Jardin, Brenda (John) Baird, Janet (Boab) Bell. Beloved Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Anne was the daughter of the late Kevin and Kathleen Somerville and cherished daughter-in-law of the late William Liston and Madeleine Kirkwood.
Anne was an Elementary School Teacher in Guelph with most of her career spent as the Librarian at Priory Park Public School. She was known for her love of children, books, reading and most of all tea.
A celebration of Anne’s life was held at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place.
