Obituary
It is with sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beautiful Anita Clara Hardy (nee Hoffart) on June 21st, 2017 .
She quietly passed away, with her husband and children beside her, holding her hand. She is remembered as a kind and gentle spirit with a heart full of love for people. She was happiest in the presence of her family and friends. People gravitated to her warm and joyful personality. Her warmth readily extended to those in need, welcoming people. Anita was a passionate, sensitive, creative woman, creating beautiful oil paintings, woven tapestries, original pottery and incredible meals for her family and fortunate friends. Her warm laughter and her loving smile will alway be remembered by her family. She was deeply loved.
Anita is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 53 years, James Hardy who cared for her daily in the years she suffered from the devastation of Alzheimer’s. She also leaves behind three daughters and a son; Lisa Hardy, Monica Hardy, Alana Hardy, JP Hardy, as well as six grand children.
Think of her when you see flowers, she loved them. In the kindness of her spirit, she would want you to visit a lonely senior.
