William « Bill » Rowe Obituary
Surrounded by his loved ones, William “Bill” Francis Rowe passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in his home. Born in Saint John, NB on October 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Walter and Mae Marie (nee. Comeau) Rowe.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Lorraine (nee. Jeffries) who would have been married or 68 years; sons: Stephen (Wanda), Ricky (Sharon), Kevin (Tammy), and Karl (Thor), and Ronnie; daughter-in-law Debbie; sister Shirley; grandchildren: Mike (Lynn), Christina (Erik), Laura, Kaithlyn (Kyle), Brandon (Lori), and Gina (Brett); great grandchildren: Kiara, Sarah, Austin, Hannah, Christopher, Emma, Aliyah, David, morgana, Mason, Haylee, Ryker, Liam, Layton, and Tate; great-great grandchildren Denver and Jasper; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Bill was predeceased by his sons: David “Davi”, Christopher, and Donald; and siblings: Gordon, Doug, Jack, Everett, Kenny, Pearl, Kay, and Carmelita.
Bill was a catholic man with strong family values. He was a wonderful devoting husband to his wife Lorraine for 68 years. Bill was tough on his boys but that is why they are who they are today; they all have strong family values. Tough love is the hardest to do but Bill nailed it!
Bill loved spending time with his grandchildren, always stopping what he was doing to give treats to the kids The door to his home was always open to his grandbabies. While many of his loved ones were starting their lives Bill wads there to help give them a good start>
Bill worked hard all his life working at the dry docks for years until his retirement.
He loved his camping days at Cassidy Lake where many family members and friends would gather. They can all share fond memories of poker games, bon fires, and the get togethers with all the family; these will be memories no one will forget.
Bill will never be completely gone, maybe in physical form, but when we see Stephen get his big deer, watch Kevin build something beautiful, watch Karl turn a junk car into a beautiful new car, Davi welding, or Ricky looking after the elderly with compassion; we see Bill. We see Bill in all these great traits as Bill had touched the hearts of many and helped his loved ones in ways that will never be forgotten.
