A special person for sure. Phil was as much cousin to me as Marg. He shared his birthday with my Dad and he was proud of that. Always full of fun and stories. I still have the clock we salvaged from the dump. It works good and I remember Phil when I see the time. He would take me for many trips around his lake area. My heart hurts and I miss him. Hugs to Marg, Barry,Dale and families.

So sorry to hear of Phil’s passing. Although we only spent time a few years while together in hunting season he became my friend. Always cheerful, Phil was always loved and respected by anyone who got to know him. He will be sadly missed by myself and many others. My condolences to Phil’s family and friends.

Anyone who was lucky enough to get to know my Grandpa Phil knew what a genuine, good man he was. He was always there to help fix whatever broken vehicle or junk yard item we brought home to him, and somehow always had what you needed in his garage. I’m grateful for all the years of laughter, adventures, and time with our family. He makes me proud to have the Vibert name and to be part of the great family he built. Rest In Peace Grandpa

First of all, let me express my sincere condolences to Auntie Marg, Barrie, and Dale! Uncle Phil or unc As I like to call him was more than an uncle to me. He was a father figure a mentor and a friend. I loved him deeply and he knew this. I am going to miss him terribly.!

I’ve known my buddy for almost 70 years To say I will miss him is a huge understatement He and Marg and the boys were part of my family and he made it clear that me and my family were always part of his His mother used to call me her other son and I was very proud of that
Phil’s common sense and humour got him through a lot of things including numerous cancer bouts that would bring out his positive attitude in spades
Our deepest sympathies to Marg Barrie Dale and their families

The world lost a legend in my Grandpa Phil. Thankful for the many laughs, adventures and lessons shared with him. He was an example of trust, loyalty, perseverance, hard work and what it means to be a Vibert. Famous for his one liners such as “stick around me, you might learn something”. He was right, and we learned way more than he could’ve imagined. Rest in peace Grandpa.

I want to add my voice to the many accolades. Phil was closer to me than my brothers, a great friend, neighbour, and fishing buddy. I feel some of the loss that Marg, Barrie and Dale feel. So sorry!

Phil was a pile of fun. Always bringing a great laugh to any situation. We love him and are so thankful for the many years of friendship. One time we took him out in the boat and never brought him back for many hours. Those precious days will always be treasured. Our hearts are broken for Marg, Dale, Barry and all the family as you suffer this huge loss. You are loved and in our prayers.
