TRACY LYNN BOUSQUET HEYDER
It is with great sadness that the family of Tracy Lynn Bousquet Heyder announces her passing on December 28, 2024, at the TBRHSC with her loving husband, family and friends by her side.
Born June 19th, 1971 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up in Current River, Tracy loved life and all the time she spent with family and friends. Whether it was swimming or walking you could always find her not far from Current River area.
She started her career at a young age straight out of high school and worked various positions for WSIB over the last 34 years.
Tracy loved to travel whether is was with her work friends, travel group or her husband. When she wasn’t travelling you could find her in the garden perfecting her flower beds with her mother. Tracy had many talents and her own design style could be seen in many rooms in their home and yard. She always had time for friends and family whether it was a casual glass of wine or going out for sushi, these friendships were always cherished by her.
One of her favourite places she would travel to several times a year was Kitchener, Ontario to see her sister Crystal where they would be sure to stop at St. Jacob’s market for a pickle on a stick.
Tracy met the love of her life, Vern W. Heyder and for the last 12 years they were inseparable. Vern made Tracy, his Snow Princess’s dying wish come true by marrying her on December 26th, 2024 with friends and family present before her passing.
Tracy (AKA « Boo ») will be greatly missed by her loving husband Vern Heyder, mother Barb Bousquet, mother-in-law Faith (Jim) Bowles, brother-in-law Dave Wood, sisters-in-law Martha Heyder, Sandra (Bruce) Miecznikowski, aunt Dorothy (Bobby) Ogden, a niece and several nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, her special friend « Wifey » Sylvie Wilson (Brian) and numerous other friends.
She was predeceased by her father Allan Renaud, sister Crystal Wood, aunts Blanche (Bill) Jewison, Joyce and Norman Holman, uncles Freddie, Kenny, Bruce and Donny Hopkinson.
With much gratitude, the family would like to thank the nurses and staff in the ICU at the TBRHSC for their exceptional care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, please send a text to 807-709-8589 or call for further details.
In lieu of flowers the family would request any donations to be made to a foundation of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
so He put His arms around you and whispered come to me.
With tearful eyes we watched you, we watched you fade away,
although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating hard-working hands now rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Lovingly missed and forever in our hearts.
