On February 7, 2025, Tina Dyck of Abbotsford, BC, passed into the arms of Jesus to her heavenly home. Tina married Henry Dyck in 1949 at Aberdeen, SK, and moved with Henry to start married life in St. Catharines, Ontario. Tina was mother to Melinda (Peter Bensler), grandmother to Nathan, Ruth (Cory Streifel), Jeffry, and Karen, great-grandmother to Theron and Lincoln Bensler, Isaac, Hannah, Asher and Eli Streifel; mother to Walter (Lorinda Switzer), grandmother to Aaron and Preston; mother to Alan (MaryAnn Wiebe), grandmother to Maria, Ryan (Natasha) and Bruce (Marya); mother to Lorna (Vern Dueck), grandmother to Adam and Elise; and mother to Doris (Glenn Froese), grandmother to Aric (Mikayla) and Kara, great grandmother to Henry Froese. Tina was predeceased by her husband Henry in 2013 and her siblings Helen, Gertie, Isaac, and Susie. She is survived by her sister Eva (Abe Buhler). Tina was a tireless volunteer, an expert seamstress, an amazing caterer and cook, spending years as Head Cook for Camp Crossroads and at Fairview MB church, and a master Skip-Bo player. Special thanks to the Menno Home Chaplains who ministered to Mom, and to Abbotsford Hospice who cared for Mom in her last days. A memorial for Tina will be held on March 21st at Menno Home Chapel, Abbotsford, B.C.
