Sharon Gibson of Manitou Beach, SK passed away at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, SK on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the age of 69 years.
Sharon was born to parents Archie and Marie Gibson in Saskatoon where she grew up. In 1994, while visiting Jim Alcock’s farm, she met Michael Gaudet and they have been inseparable ever since, living in Manitou Beach. Sharon was an artist and together with Michael operated G-G’s Gallery and Gifts for 15 years.
Sharon is survived by her husband Michael, her step daughter Ilara, mother Marie, brother Rod and sister Elizabeth along with numberous nieces, nephews and cousins.
« I was by her side every day, She knew how much she was loved. My heart is shattered. In the big picture, I believe her Angels escorted her to a better place, where she is free from suffering and mental anguish. As we all know Sharon is a fiercely independent woman, and the idea of relying on nurses for EVErYthING was not her cup of tea. God bless and keep us all. »
A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring of 2025.
