Obituary of Ruth Meyer
The death of Ruth Meyer (Hetherington) of Oromocto, NB occurred on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at her home. Born in Minto, NB on August 20, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Ruby (Kelley) Hetherington. Ruth is survived by her two sons, Daniel (Sherri) of Keswick and Barry (Hilda) of Lakeville Corner, NB; six grandchildren Christine, Gregory, Caine, Jenna, Julie and Darcy and five greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her three sons: Gary, Glendon and Keith and two brothers, Jack and Roger.
Ruth worked for 38 years at the North Minto Hospital and Wilfred Bishop Hospital. She was a dedicated nurse’s assistant and provided care and comfort to her patients. She loved to crochet and produced many wonderful items. She enjoyed music and often attended musical events in the community.
In keeping with Ruth’s wishes there will be no service. She will be interned next to her three sons.
