He is also predeceased by his buddy Leo (Kitty), Tom and friends Lindsay (Joyce) and Brendan (Marg-deceased).
Left to Mourn with an abundance of cherished memories are his daughter Anita (Al) with grandchildren Samantha (Mitchel) with great grandchildren, Jayden and Ava; Dawn (Curtis) with great grandchild Finn; Angie (Joey) with great grandchild Jacob; daughter Shelly (Deon) with grandchildren Mason and Madi; and son Ron (Sharon) with grandchildren, Daniel, Cody, Chase, Ross, Brianna, Adam with great grandchildren Solaris, Jasper, and Antonio; Alex (Amanda) with great grandchildren Bella, Miles, Emelia, and Kace; Ronnie (Aylssa) with great grandchildren Liam, Elijah, Emmett, Elayna and Emery; Sarah with great grandchildren Alanna and Gracie; Taylor with great grandchildren Aubree and Mason; Tyler (Savanna) with great grandchildren Damon Ariel, Meka, and Axel; and Justin with great grandchildren Brianna and Nash.

Also fondly remembered by his cherished friend, Anne. We will be forever blessed for your lifelong friendship with Mom and Dad!
Dad wasn’t just an amazing father, he was an incredible human being who had an unconditional love for his family and friends. He was a very humble man who took great pride in caring for his family. He had a supreme love for the outdoors and was most happy when on the water fishing or when hunting and at his cabin. He thoroughly enjoyed rabbit hunting with his beagles; all of this bringing him great joy. We will be forever grateful for all his love and support, and all the wise words of wisdom. No matter what ventures our family endeavored, he would always say, “That’s great, remember we’re just a phone call away”.
He was cherished by many; he loved to see the door open, young and old alike. He was always waiting to share a cup of tea and a meal; he will be missed by many.
“A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again”. We will cherish and miss you forever Dad.
Special Thanks to the amazing staff at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, and particularly Dr. Paulus who went above and beyond to support and respect Dad and our family on his final journey. Heartfelt appreciation to Anne, Dad and Mom’s lifelong friend, who gave us so much comfort over the years just with her presence in their lives. It was very comforting knowing Dad had such a supportive friend in his life these past years during much of his illness. Special thanks to Jamie Aylward for ‘always’ being there at a phone call! You were a tremendous support to Dad; he cherished the many chats. And to Bill Broderick, always the first to be there for our family, no matter the ask. We will be forever grateful for your support and friendship!
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Service will take place at St. Brendan’s Roman Catholic Church, St Brendan’s.
