Robert Dean Rideout of Centreville, NB, passed away unexpectedly at
his home on May 15, 2025.
Robert was born in Lower Kintore, NB, on May 15, 1947. He was the son
of the late Hilton and Alice (Lappage) Rideout. Robert leaves behind
his wife, Barbara Rideout (Larlee); his daughter, Michelle Rideout of
Woodstock, NB; his sons, Troy Rideout (Beverly Thistle) of Geary, NB,
and Trevor Rideout (Brenda) of Minto, NB; his stepchildren, Russell
Cormier of Grande Prairie, AB, Jennifer Dusenbury (Will) of Brighton,
ON, and Tina Rideout of Brockville, ON; nine sisters, Donna Bates of
Oregon, Shirley (Maurice) Fournier of Fort Fairfield, ME, Barbara
(John) McAllister of Amherst, NS, Judy Libby of Fort Fairfield ME,
Dian (Kevin) McDougall of Grand Falls Portage, NB, Angela (Greg)
Pelkey of Woodstock, NB, Sherry (Reg) DeMerchant of Perth-Andover, NB,
Patsy (Mark) McCarthy of Carlingford, NB; six brothers, Wayne of
Aroostook, NB, Scott of Lower Kintore, NB, Winston of Perth-Andover,
NB, Ross (Barb) of Perth-Andover, NB, Billy of Lower Kintore, NB and
Doug of Lower Kintore, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his parents and his first wife, Linda
Rideout (Scott).
Respecting Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date.
Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke
Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
