It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Wallace Norton on May 6, 2025. Born December 19, 1930 in Glen Williams, Ontario to Norman and Dorothy Norton. Fondly known as « Bob »; he passed away at the Milton District Hospital.
Bob is survived by his long time devoted companion (Connie), son (Al), sisters (Syl and Pat), stepchildren (Les, Dean, Paul, Carolyn and Lisa) and many loving nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and many friends.
Bob will be remembered for many things; his love, his patience, his understanding and his wisdom. He was a wonderful husband, a great father, a favourite uncle, the best granddad (Pops) and a valued friend. Many will remember him as the best mechanic in Milton. With 30+ years working at Johnson’s Garage on Main Street. Always ready to get his hands dirty with either fixing a car or helping with home repairs and home renovations. He shared his gifts and talents with everyone.
His departure comes as a shock and deep wound and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply.

Honouring Bob’s wishes, there will not be a visitation or a funeral service but a Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date. He will be laid to rest at the Milton Evergreen Cemetery with other departed family members and friends.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is now at rest.
