It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pierre (Pete) Brunet on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at his residence at the age of 63 years. Beloved husband for 20 years of Marie Fe Brunet (née Cantalejo). Loving father of Jean-Pierre Brunet (Melanie), Ashley Brunet (Noël), Tara Leblanc (Jason), Pierre Jr. Brunet (Toby), Candace Brunet (Ben), Nicholas Martin Brunet (Serenity) and the late Jessica Brunet. Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren. Treasured son of Rolande Brunet (née Amyotte) and of the late Jean-Louis Brunet. Dear brother Nicole Crowder (Wayne), Denis Brunet (Carrie), Carole MacNaughton (late Steve) and Anne Lyonnais (Pete). Pete will be greatly missed by his chosen daughters Danielyn, Roselyn and Kristin, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
At his core Pete was a devoted family man with a big heart as big as his love for life. He was the cornerstone of his family. He cherished his time with his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, creating memories full of laughter and love. Known for his generosity and selflessness, he was a kind man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand or share an encouraging word.
He was a man of unwavering dedication, compassion and joy. He was the proud owner of Brunet Monuments and also a Funeral Director for Boulerice Funeral Home. He was known for his professionalism and empathy; He turned his life’s work into a legacy of care and kindness.
Pete was a man of passion and adventure. An avid member of the Road Snakes, he found freedom and camaraderie on the open road. Riding his beloved motorcycle brought him boundless joy, whether alongside his biker family or during solitary rides to clear his mind
Pete’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance at Boulerice Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) from 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 17th, 2025. A memorial mass will take place at Nativity Church on Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated
