It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Pam Fancy, announce her sudden passing on February 3, 2025 in Dartmouth NS with her family and friends by her side.
Pam was born on June 27, 1960 to Ellard Bernard Fancy and Marjorie Luella Fancy in Caledonia NS. She was the youngest of 8 siblings. Pam was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her Sister Gail Armstrong, Brother Brian Wamboldt, Sisters in Law Maude Jesso, Joanne Fancy, Step Daughter Sonja Naugler, Nieces and Nephews Vaughan Wamboldt, Angie Webster, Stephanie Eddy, Neil Baylis, Christopher Fancy, Emily Fancy, Adam Fancy, Great Nieces and Nephews Aiden, Tyler, Sadie, Cane, Rebecca, Kenzie, and Great Great Nieces and Nephews Xavier, Charlotte, Dita-Jo, Kyleigha and Kolby. She was predeceased by her Father Ellard and Mother Marjorie, sisters Marlene, Florence Baylis, brothers Timothy, Gregory, Peter, Niece Cindy Wamboldt, Brothers in Law Nelson Baylis and Timmy Armstrong, Sister in Law Donna Wamboldt.
Pam leaves behind wonderful memories with some of her best friends, Len, Peggy M, Alisha, Kelly, Lee-Anne, Serena, Pat and her very good friend and mentor Kara S.
Pam also leaves behind her 2 beloved cats Chrissy and Callie and her birds Stevie and Fred. They were not just pets, but her companions who brought her so much joy into her daily life.
Pam enjoyed traveling, listening to music, reading, gardening, camping with Gail, playing cards with friends and neighbours and spending time with her family and friends.
All who knew her, were proud of her greatest accomplishment while here on this earth. It wouldn’t have been possible without the love and support of her family, extended family and her closest friends.
Despite the passing of time and the end of their matrimonial journey, her ex-husband Michael Naugler remained a meaningful person in her life. They continued a friendship, and he was with her right up until her last moments.
Pam will be missed by everyone who’s path she crossed. Though Pam has left us physically, through our shared memories, the laughter and the hardships we have shared together, the lessons learned from one another – and above all else – the love we hold within us – she will continue living on eternally among us all.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday February 23, 2025 from 2pm – 4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 164, Main Road Eastern Passage.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local animal shelter of your choice and would be greatly appreciated.
