HOUSE, Mercedes peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion’s Head. Mercedes House (nee Pittman) formerly of Port Elgin and Stephenville, Newfoundland in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey. Cherished mother of Hilda Hancock (Bill), Vaden (Kathleen), Dyson (Carman), Patsy Willette (Leonard), Andrew (Ellie), Inga and Jason. Much loved grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 5. Predeceased by parents Minnie (nee Jenkins) and Elias Pittman, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the management and staff at Golden Dawn Nursing Home for the exceptional care provided.
A private family funeral service will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Interment Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Stephenville, Newfoundland.
