Mary-Ellen Robinson Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Born in Toronto on September 28, 1946, Mary-Ellen Robinson (née Murray), was in her 79th year.
Mary-Ellen was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret (Peggy) Murray, and her brother Joseph Murray.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Francis Robinson. Loving mother to Mary-Ann (Andrew), Mackenzie (William) and James (Janet). Cherished grandmother to all her grandchildren, sister to her brothers Steve Murray (Barbara), and Bruce Murray (Alice) and sister-in-law to Aldis Murray.
Mary-Ellen will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Card games in the ice cream parlor will not be the same and the hallways in Lee Manor will be void of her larger than life, jovial personality and infectious laughter.
Mary-Ellen’s family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the amazing staff at Lee Manor for the compassionate and loving care they provided to Mary-Ellen during her time with them. You were truly her extended family.
In keeping with Mary-Ellen’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a future date.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choosing will be appreciated. Online condolences can be sent to Mary-Ellen’s family by visiting her memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
