It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Linda Hellen Hamilton, on January 22, 2025 at Strathroy Middle General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Robert Hamilton of 51 cherished and special years. Loving and devoted mother to Rick, Pam (Brian) Wellington and Lisa (Jason) Smith. Proud grandma of Presley, Brooke (Branden), Dillon (Kelly), Darren (Brittany), Isaac, and Brandon (Emmaleigh). Great-grandma of Walker, Ava, Braxton, Bailey, Jaxon, and Lainey.
Linda is survived by her siblings, Brenda, Carrol, Frank, George. Predeceased by her siblings Tom, Shirley, Norm, Jim, Rob, Marlene, Betty, and Donna-Lee. Survived by her sisters-in-law Anne (Allan), Carole (Keith) and Connie. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Cliff. Linda will be remembered by her adopted daughter Phyllis.
Linda loved her family more than anything, and her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
A special thank you to Dr. Crowley, the SMGH team and her homecare nurses Kelly and Tracey for all their care, compassion and kindness to Linda.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 from 1:00-3:00p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will be held at 3:00p.m. at the church. A Private interment to follow at Pinehill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST.
