McCabe-Lee Andrew McCabe (aka “Dewie”) born July 24, 1967 passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on September 29, 2025 while working out of province. He is survived by his beloved sons, Caleb and Levi of Kincardine; his fiancée, Amy Christopher of Methuen, Massachusetts; his mother, Ruth Ann of Corunna; and his brothers, Mark of Mooretown and Brian (Shannon) of Courtright. Also, will be missed by Diane and Tom Robillard of Methuen, Massachusetts and his bonus kids; Ben (Billi), Liza (Christiopher), Abel (Juli) and bonus grandchildren Copeland, Kaiden, Ezra, Brooke, Jacob, Parker and Harman. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald, and brother, Brent. Lee was a devoted father, partner, son, and brother. Known for his tough exterior but kind heart, “Uncle Dewie” adored his nieces, nephews, and later Amy’s grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Papa Lee.”Following his father’s footsteps he was a proud Millwright Union Local 1592 member, Lee worked across Ontario and Western Canada, becoming a respected subject matter expert in industrial equipment. Lee was also an avid sportsman, playing hockey and rugby in his youth, and remained especially proud of winning the 1987 Provincial Championship with the Mooretown Flags Jr. C team. Lee will be remembered for his strong spirit, loyalty, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future and details will be posted here when available.
