Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our dear beloved mother Julie, in Oakville with family by her side at the age of 85.
Julie was born in Siolim, Goa, India to Albert D’Cruz and Nataline D’Cruz.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years Dominic D’Souza. Loving mother to Doreen (Dave) D’Souza, Diana (John) O’Regan and Debra (Cyril) D’Souza- Dias. Cherished Grandmother/Nana to Caitlin, Jennifer, Ethan and Lucas.
She will be remembered dearly by her brother Tony D’Cruz (Maggie) and sister-in-law Lucy D’Silva, Roma Crasto, brother-in-law Salvador (Ceuzita) D’Souza, John (Mahlen) D’Souza and her many nieces and nephews.
Julie was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother/nana who was unwavering in her faith to God. We remember her as a kind-hearted and generous woman throughout her life. She was a wonderful cook and gracious host always welcoming her friends and family to her home for many celebrations. Julie lived a full and warm life, filled with joy.
Julie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
May eternal rest be granted unto her and let perpetual light shine upon her.
In memory of our mother, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

We have so many wonderful memories with Julie that we’ll always cherish!
She loved Indian movies and the beautiful songs that came with them.
I have such fond memories of our early morning walks at Buckhorn Cottage.
There are countless joyful photos of Julie, always laughing and sharing witty comments that could light up anyone’s day.
We will truly miss you, beautiful Julie!
