Jenna Marie Orman
1986 – 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jenna Marie Orman on February 13, 2025, at the age of 38. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, who touched the lives of so many.
Jenna Marie Orman was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Born on February 19, 1986, in Regina, Saskatchewan, she was the beloved youngest child of Shane and Marie Astrope and little sister to Jordan. Growing up in Regina, Jenna cherished time spent with her best friends—her cousins—who were like siblings to her. In her youth, she was a decorated gymnast and wrestler and excelled at academics. She graduated from F. W. Johnson, and she went on to pursue her education at the University of Regina. Her passion for helping others led her to a career as a Court Liaison Officer at the Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP detachment, where she was known for her dedication and kindness.
Jenna was so much more than the roles she filled—she was a loving wife to Will Orman, a cherished daughter, and a caring sister. But above all, she was a devoted mother to her two beautiful daughters, Addyson and Jesse. Her girls were the center of her universe, and she poured her heart into ensuring they felt deeply loved, supported, and encouraged to chase their dreams. Outside of her work and family life, Jenna had many passions. She loved spending time outdoors, whether it was camping with loved ones or tending to her garden. She was actively involved in her community and found joy in volunteering. Jenna was also her daughters’ biggest supporter, always on the sidelines coaching or cheering them on as they played soccer, participated in gymnastics and figure skated. She had a competitive spirit and loved playing games and cards with family and friends. Jenna had a generous heart and a deep love for bringing people together.
Jenna was predeceased by her grandparents, William and Dorothy Astrope, and Wilfrid and Jennie Bertrand; her sisters-in-law Kimberly Ward and Kayla Turgeon; as well as many beloved aunts and uncles. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Will, and their two beautiful daughters, Addyson and Jesse, who will carry her love with them always. In addition, she is survived by her parents, Shane and Marie, her brother Jordan and his wife Kylene; her father and mother-in-law, Russ and Becky Turgeon; brother-in-laws Tony and Derek, her sister-in-law Kelly; extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Though Jenna’s time with us was far too short, the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the kindness she spread will never fade. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will be felt for generations.
A public memorial service to honour Jenna’s life will be held at Cupar School Gym on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2pm. Following the service, all are welcome to gather at the town hall to share memories and refreshments in Jenna’s honour.
Jenna, you will be forever missed, forever loved, and forever in our hearts.
