Obituary of Janet Busch
Peacefully, in her home at Shalom Manor, with her son Rob at her side, Janet (Jannetje) Busch was called home to her Lord and Saviour on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the age of 92. Janet was the loving mother of Michael† (Donna†), Wayne, Steven (Hedy), and Robert. She was also Oma to 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a sister to Willy (Jack†), Alice (George), Jake (Elizabeth), Fred (Mary Ann), Mary Ann (George), Martin (Cynthia) and Betty (Bert). Predeceased by her husband Reg Lacey and Tom Busch, and by 4 siblings: John† (Riet), Margie† (Herman), Case† (Dorothy), and Dick†.
Janet was a dear mom, a wonderful sister, and a loving aunt. She began a career of working with those in need in Strathroy where she was involved in a local nursing home. After moving to Sarnia, she went back to school to become a health care aide. She put her skills to good use for a number of years in the Sarnia area. She later moved to London where she put down roots. She worked for many years there as a health care aide in a local nursing home. She was involved with her church community and she also enjoyed being a volunteer at Parkwood Manor. Janet was adored by those who came to know her, even by those who cared for her these past 8 years as a resident in Shalom Manor. Janet’s was a life well lived, a testimony of God’s faithfulness!
A funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel, 648 Hamilton Road, on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery.
