Terri Garland of Grande-Digue, NB, passed away on January 11th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, with her loving husband, Bruce by her side.
Terri was born in Port Glasgow, Scotland, on August 4, 1953. She was the daughter of the late William and the late Anne Bowie.
Besides her parents, Terri was predeceased by her sisters: Marjory and Anne; as well as her brother, David. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; her sister, Collette Yarnell; her brothers: Michael and John Bowie; and her niece, Stephanie Yarnell.
In 1965 Terri emigrated from Scotland to Canada, settling in Toronto, Ontario, where she later met her future husband and was happily married for 50 years.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the Surgical ICU for their professional dedication and compassion shown to Terri and her loved ones.
In respect to Terri’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Terri’s birthday, August 4th, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
