Shediac, N.-B – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Eddie Bastarache, that occurred at his residence on February 7th, 2025.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Guillaume Bastarache and the late Pauline (LeBlanc) Bastarache.
He will be sadly missed by the mother of his children, Dorine Bastarache of Moncton; his two sons: Eddie Daniel of Moncton, and Brandon of Shediac; his three daughters: Elise and Jennifer both of Moncton, and Stephanie of Shediac; his eight grandchildren: Dustin, Jacob, Jonah, Aaliyah, Benjamin, Alorah, Kingsley, and Amelia-Anne; his brother, Wayne of Dieppe; his two sisters: Giselle of Moncton, and Angela of Dieppe; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Monday, February 17th, from 2 to 4 pm only. Funeral service will follow in the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel at 4 pm on the same day.
If desired, a donation in memory of Eddie can be made to the Lung Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
