Grande-Digue – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Mary LeBlanc, 90, on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, at her residence in Ottawa, Ontario.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary (White) Kelly.
She will sadly be missed by her three sons, Michael, Lawrence and David, all of Ottawa; her five
grandchildren, Alexandra, Christopher, Paul, Jonathon, and Danielle; her three great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Charles (Chuck) Kelly, of North Bay, Ontario.
Besides her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband Louis; six sisters: Patsy, Jean,
Josephine, Ellen, Mary, Linda and two brothers: Thomas and Albert.
Agnes had two priorities in her life, Faith and Family. She was active in many churches in her life and was also a member of the Catholic Women’s League since 1968. She served on every level of the League and received the Queen’s Jubilee Medal in 1977 and was honored with Life
Membership in 1979. Her avocation was, cross-stich, painting, and reading.
A funeral service will be held at a later date.
Interment in La Visitation Parish Cemetery, Grande-Digue, NB.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Agnes’ memory to the MacDonald House A Postulate, 288 Dafoe Road, RR#2 Combermere, ON K0J 1L0.
