FitzGerald, Helen Muriel (nee Storm) – It is with heavy hearts that we announce Helen’s passing, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Eldred (1988) with whom she shared 36 years of marriage. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Marilyn Bound (Brian). Proud grandmother of Sarah and GiGi of Ceilidh Bound. Survived by her siblings Margaret Cummins, Jean Ukrainetz, Lynn Brown (Gord) and Larry Storm. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was very fond of her extended family through marriage, the Ross family of Shigawake, Quebec and Klaczek family of Stony Plain, Alberta .
Predeceased by her infant sons Kenneth and Eldred Jr., her parents, George and Isabella Storm, many brothers and sisters and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Helen was a “J” singer for many years, through the Coronation Centre and joined the Stamford Lane Church Choir in 2022. She served as a foster mother and leaves behind her foster child, Valerie Repath.
Helen is resting at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, where her family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning, January 15th at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
