Glen Cecil Irvine,
May 23, 1950 – February 10, 2025
With family by his side, Glen passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Grand River Hospital at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Lori. Devoted father to Brenda Martin (Reg), Julie Irvine (Curt), and stepson Christopher Barnsley. Cherished grandpa to Samantha, Kyle, Amanda, and honourary granddaughter Lianne.
Will be missed by his brothers Steve (Chris), Alan (Shirley), and many nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by his loving parents Cecil and Marion and precious sister Nancy.
Glen grew up on the family farm in Grand Valley and resided many years in Elmira, ON. Glen’s early career with IBM led to ongoing success as a small business owner in computer services. Glen had a lifelong love of curling. In his retirement, Glen loved to spend his time at Lake Huron Resort in his trailer, enjoying the famous sunsets.
Glen appreciated spending time with family and friends and could always tell a good story with a laugh and sense of humour.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Participation House in Markham can be made in memory of Glen.
